Super Bowl LVIII was won by the Kansas City Chiefs, who broke the San Francisco 49ers with a last-gasp effort to steal the game 25-22. That stunningly dramatic action was played before a packed Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

(500 private jets leaving Las Vegas after Super Bowl LVIII)
The video above went viral on social media a day later, showing all the private jets leaving Nevada after the game. Apart from a terrifying disregard of the climate crisis, this showed the sheer number of VIPs traveling to the game.
If, like us, you’ve dreamed of the VIP experience at football’s biggest showpiece event, join us as we talk you through what you could expect to enjoy as a more climate-aware, Very Important Person at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans this year…
Travel via Commercial Plane
Travel by private jets produced 14 times more CO2 than commercial jets, so your VIP package will include a trip on a passenger plane to New Orleans. Don’t worry; you can peruse the Super Bowl odds and read the latest match previews in luxury during your flight, as you’ll be sitting right up front in First Class like a true VIP.
When you touch down at Louis Armstrong International Airport, you’ll be greeted by a chauffeur outside the terminal who takes you, in style, to Caesars Superdrome.
Enjoy Ultra-Premium Cuisine and the Top Shelf Open Bar
Louisiana is home to some of the country’s tastiest and most sumptuous food, and you’ll experience the state’s best when you arrive at the stadium. Sitting down with your fellow guests, you’ll be fed a three-course meal that wouldn’t look out of place at the Golden Globes.
Throughout and after, you’ll have free access to everything from the bar, which stocks way more than your regular run-of-the-mill liquor joint. If you’re a whisky fan, you can enjoy some of the finest American blends or even indulge in luxurious Japanese ones.
If champagne is your thing, there will be a plethora of NV and vintage options to choose from. As you know, the best is Dom Perignon, and as someone with a discerning palate, you’ll be keeping your eyes peeled for a 2008, 2002, 1990, or 1982 vintage.

(Dom Perignon is the MVP of champagne, and you’ll be able to enjoy it as a VIP at Super Bowl LIX.)
NFL Legend Appearances
Throughout the day, you will get ample opportunity to hear from and meet some of the biggest names in the NFL. Typically, during the dinner, there will be an appearance from a legend, who will regale the audience with tales of their career.
Afterward, you will be granted club access, allowing you to be so close to the field that you’ll feel you could almost score a field goal. Here, some other NFL legends will be milling about and interacting with your fellow VIPs. This, after all, is part of the VIP package marketed as ‘time for Instagram-able Photo Ops, ‘ so have the selfie stick ready!

(Your meal will look something like this, hopefully with a lot less chaos!)
The Game Itself
As a VIP, you will pick the seats on the 50-yard line, where you will watch the game in luxury.
Not only will you have the best view in the stadium, but you’ll also have access to your private restroom, cellphone charging stations, and server service from the bar.
Post-Game
This is the best bit. Once you’ve enjoyed the biggest show on the planet, you can enter the field of play and see the victorious and heroic losers face to face. Be careful about asking for selfies at this stage, though, and the players might be too elated or downhearted to respond politely to you.
Perhaps take the opportunity to drink it all in with your eyes and create your memory of sporting history. Once you’ve had enough of that, it’s time to retire to the bar for the champagne toast, which is where you are traditionally joined by players and/or staff from the winning team.
If you were there to support the losing team, this might be a bittersweet moment for you, although you can console yourself that you’ll be drinking some of the finest champagne on the planet.
Once that’s done, the fun is finally over. It’s time to return to the airport in your chauffeur-driven car and return to normal. Though with plenty of tales and pictures to wow your friends and family.
